Alexander City Emblem | Pompeii Stone Pillar

🗿Built during the reign of Roman Emperor Trajan in the 1st century AD, the stone column was originally part of the Temple of Serapis. The temple existed for only a short time before it was destroyed, and only the column was preserved, becoming a navigational landmark for sailors. Following the stone path all the way up, there is only one towering stone pillar, which is the Stone Pillar, also known as the "Pillar of Knights". The surroundings of the stone pillar are dotted with many artworks from the Pharaonic period as a backdrop, but now they are incomplete.
