Elche is famous for its palm plantations

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Alicante (Region) Central Park contains more than a million trees and runs along the river that runs through the center of town. It is one of the best parks in the province, well cared for, clean, protected and maintained, with a wide variety of plants and trees, most of which are palm trees, and it is part of the Palm Grove, a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. The main component, the Royal Palms, is worth seeing for its peculiarity and a pleasure to stroll among them with family or a couple. There seemed to be no signs for free entry so we just wandered around and discovered a couple of fountains and some beautiful avenues in a lovely and litter-free setting. #JanuaryDestinations2025 #SpainTravel #Valencia
