| Regina Experiental. The Regina Experiental is a royal resort hotel built in 1907, located on the top of the cliff in Biarritz, France, next to the famous golden beach of the Bay of Biscay. Last year, well-known Parisian interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon cleverly used new nautical elements to renovate and upgrade this historic century-old building, making it a popular surfing tourist destination. The hotel was originally designed and built by architect Henry Martinet, and its 15-meter-high atrium, convex balconies and architectural facades with an Art Deco aesthetic have all been preserved. The interior space of the hotel is well preserved, and the designer took inspiration from the local coastal characteristics to inject fresh vitality into the atrium space by adding colorful furniture and modern nautical decorative art. The retained glass ceiling introduces ample natural light into the atrium, and the two sculptural columns of wicker totems in the middle become one of the eye-catching highlights of the lobby area. The Art Deco style of the hotel's 72 rooms uses white, blue, mint green and Basque red as the main colors, with views facing the open Bay of Biscay and Biarritz Golf Course. Featuring a creative restaurant rooted in the beautiful "Basque" culinary culture, a spacious orangery and a spa with outdoor swimming pool, the hotel takes full advantage of the panoramic views of the sea, the "Biarritz" lighthouse and the "Basque" coast.
