There’s no blend available here; instead, the (friendly and thorough) staff will ask you to choose your preferred beans from the 10 or so offered, asking for your preferred taste and recommending accordingly. What I ended up with was one of the most interesting cups of coffee I’ve had, bursting with passion fruit, aloe, and citrus notes. This is not a cheap place, needless to say, with my pour-over coming in at 1000 yen a cup, but as a one-off experience I was happy to pay it. It’s a stylish but comfortable vibe, with music supplied by vinyl records (though I would have preferred it if the volume were a touch lower).
