|Weibei Zijin Mountain. Jinsushan Mountain, also known as Zijin Mountain, boasts towering pines and cypresses, crisscrossing valleys, and beautiful forests. Although its altitude of 1,240.7 meters is not particularly high, its location—bordering the Loess Plateau to the north and overlooking the Guanzhong Plain to the south—gives it a majestic and imposing presence when viewed from the south. Zijin Mountain Forest Park is located on the mountain. Due to its sparse population, the park has become a haven for plants and animals. The mountain is also rich in medicinal herbs, especially bupleurum, which local residents often collect to supplement their income. Compared to the Qinling Mountains, this majestic mountain range doesn't have any particular scenic advantages. However, every year on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, a grand temple fair is held on the mountain. On this day, devout men and women from Tongchuan, Weinan, Xi'an, and other surrounding areas come to burn incense and make wishes. Afterwards, they enjoy the mountain scenery, watch traditional Qinqiang opera performances (performed annually by the Fuping Theatre Company), and sample local snacks.
