Walking along the coastline, you will come across one cute and historical painted wooden sculpture (Bollards) after another, including sailors, lifeguards, little girls, band members, Aboriginal elders... Each one represents a different historical moment or character background of Geelong. Here are the highlights: * There are more than 100 hand-painted wooden sculptures scattered along the seaside promenade from Rippleside Park to Eastern Beach Reserve. I personally picked a few famous wood carvings to take photos with. * Each one is unique, very suitable for taking photos and checking in. * The wood sculpture was created by Australian artist Jan Mitchell and is Geelong's most iconic public art. * Suitable for family walks, couples dating, and hipsters taking photos!
