Ward's Island Beach

#beachlife Not to miss - Lovely place to visit when you are downtown Toronto. A short boat ride takes you to the island park and there are three distinct areas/islands to visit and spend time. Ideally you should spend whole day and would be good to pack up lunch (or grab something from local cafes) and return back by the last boat to enjoy the city light view of Toronto skyline. The best beach on Toronto Islands! Less busy than the Centre Island and with a beautiful view of the lake, you even forget you're in the city. Perfect for a picnic with friends and family and for swimming - no rocks, just sand!
