Two-Day Tour Guide for Yangshuo and Xingping Ancient Town

Location of Scenic Area: Guangxi Itinerary Introduction: Day One: In the morning, depart from Guangzhou South Railway Station by high-speed train to Yangshuo Station, which takes about 2.5 hours. Upon arrival at Yangshuo Station, take a taxi to Xingping Ancient Town (about 20 minutes by car). Have lunch in the town at noon. After lunch, climb up Laozhai Mountain, which is over 300 meters high and has more than a thousand steps, some of which are quite steep (everyone should concentrate, watch your step, and return the same way). From the top of Laozhai Mountain, you can overlook the entire Xingping Ancient Town and the scenery of the Li River. After descending the mountain, go for a walk along the Li River, passing by Yuanbao Mountain and the backdrop of the 20 yuan note. Then there are two routes to choose from: Route 1: Take a bamboo raft trip from Xingping Wharf to Nine Horses Fresco Hill. Route 2: Stroll around Xingping Ancient Town, or find a cafe to lazily listen to music and experience the slow life. Xingping, weathered but still quaint, has some special shops in the town where you can buy small commodities, gifts, postcards, etc. Arrive at a hotel near Yangshuo West Street in the evening. At night, you can stroll around the bustling West Street, soak in a bar, and enjoy Li Quan beer. Day Two: Rent a bicycle or electric scooter (bicycle rental costs about 20 yuan per bike, electric scooter about 50 yuan) for an in-depth cycling tour of about 35km, passing through the Ten-Mile Gallery, Yulong River Scenic Area Xiatang Section, Jiuxian Village and Totem Ancient Path, Butterfly Spring, and Moon Hill attractions, taking in the rural scenery of Yangshuo. Have lunch at a farmhouse at noon, and after the meal, continue cycling. After the meal, take a car to Yangshuo Station or Gongcheng Station. Upon reaching Yangshuo Station or Gongcheng Station, take a return trip to Guangzhou.
