Guilin, a city with rivers within, mountains by the rivers, scenery on the mountains, and poetry within the scenery

The small tour of Guilin began. After coming out of Guilin Station, I went directly to Elephant Trunk Hill. Walking and taking pictures until dusk, I saw the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas at Two Rivers and Four Lakes. The lakeside at dusk was filled with misty waves, and I lingered by the railing for a long time, listening to the songs sung by street performers. As the twilight set in, my heart seemed to calm down. How could one visit Guilin without having a bowl of Guilin rice noodles? I can only say it was delicious and fragrant. In the evening, I stayed at the Sapphire Hotel (Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Guilin Station Branch). The room was well arranged with three table lamps and a recliner sofa. I slept very soundly all night. The next morning, I had to have another bowl of Guilin rice noodles. After eating, I walked on the stone-paved roads of East and West Alleys, and the air was fresh. I passed by the gate tower of Jingjiang Princes' City (the ticket was a bit expensive, so I didn't go in, just took a photo outside). Then I walked and walked until I reached Diecai Hill. I had bought the ticket in advance for 23 yuan per person. The morning is the best time to visit Diecai Hill, with a gentle breeze and the sounds of birds and cicadas. The moment I passed through the Wind Cave, the breeze I encountered was really comfortable. Climbing to the top of Bright Moon Peak, I overlooked the city of Guilin, rested at Nayun Pavilion, enjoyed the breeze, and sipped some tea from my backpack. It was delightful. Due to time constraints, I didn't go towards Yangshuo, leaving the scenery for my next visit. Finally, I embarked on my return journey. Goodbye, Guilin.
