I flew to Hanoi just for this hotel

The first time I saw it, I knew it was my dream store. This time I had the opportunity to come to Vietnam, and my first stop was Hanoi. I really planned a trip just for it. Capella Hanoi is Capella’s 8th hotel and the second Bill Bensley-designed hotel I checked in. Bill Bensley combined the style of the entire block, with the "Opera Grande" as inspiration, and depicted the effect of artistic drama. Xin chao! As soon as we entered the door, someone greeted us warmly and led us to sit on the sofa in the lobby. The public space on the first floor is not very big. There is an open bar in the corner. The scarlet curtains and emerald green plants form a weird and dreamy show. They call the lobby area the "living room", where they provide free unlimited drinks and fruit snacks throughout the day, and cakes are available from 3 to 4 p.m. After passing the front desk, I came to the magnificent elevator hall held up by the gods. I almost didn't notice the direction of the elevator. The hotel has a total of 47 elegant rooms. Each floor has its own theme, such as artists, designers, musicians, etc. Even each room has a corresponding master and a drama scene of different styles. This time I was lucky enough to be upgraded to the Capella Suite. The hotel information says it is 83 square meters, but because of the clever use of mirrors over a large area of ​​space, the room looks very large. All non-alcoholic drinks in the room are free, and the room minibar is replenished once a day. Don’t underestimate anything in Capella. They are not ordinary products. Even a small bag of potato chips comes from el Valle in Spain. The chocolate is from Marou, a very famous Vietnamese handmade chocolate brand. There is also NX, a local Vietnamese nut brand. The bottle caps are also covered with wooden caps with the Capella logo. Speaking of this, Capella is really the Qianlong of the hotel industry. Basically everything you see has his logo. Capella Hanoi also has breakfast that is worth mentioning. A la carte and buffet. Please read the menu carefully. There are many dishes worth trying. Who else can afford to order unlimited oysters for breakfast? Isn't it worth trying steak? The local rice noodles are not inferior to those sold at the stalls outside. In short, every one of them is worth trying. We came for breakfast at 8 am and stayed until 11 am. When I left the hotel, I suddenly lamented how short this trip was.
