Spiritual Retreat in the Highlands

It’s a minimalist hostel but has all the amenities we need in a room. While there isn’t a tv which we think it’s so appropriate so that we can fully be immersed in our religious/meditative break. The room is naturally cooled with a ceiling fan which we didn’t need to switch on most of the time. Most importantly there’s hot shower and hot water tap. The hostel has just reopened to accept devotees hence the mattresses are very new and firm. The room is very clean too. We got a nice room which is facing the nature outside. There’s a vegetarian restaurant hence we do not need to worry about eating clean 🌱 during our religious retreat. We had our religious study at the meditation hall at level 6. There are also 2 Taoist temples at level 7 and level G. This is my first visit and will not be the last. #staycation #genting #chinsweetemple #retreat
