【Hong Kong Staycation】Accommodation experience at Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel｜Luxury high floor full sea view room｜Enjoy the view of Victoria Harbour｜Multiple choices of high-quality buffet breakfast

I didn’t expect that I would still be staying in Hong Kong after clearing customs in various countries! What I want to share today is my 2-day and 1-night stay experience at Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel. Since the purpose of this stay was to celebrate, we deliberately chose a room with full sea view and were arranged on the 19th floor. After entering the elevator, you have to insert the card before you can press the floor. The elevator carpet here is very interesting, with the day of the week written on it. I wonder if it is convenient to remind the staff to change the carpet every day! I have stayed at Shangri-La Hotels in Kuala Lumpur and London before, but this is my first time staying at the one in Hong Kong. However, I feel it is familiar because the layout and fragrance of Shangri-La Hotels are the same no matter which country they are in! As soon as we opened the door, we saw that this was the deluxe sea view room we booked! There is a large built-in cabinet on the left, and the luggage storage, TV, TV cabinet and workbench are connected on the right. There are two single beds in the room, and then another single bed was added next to the built-in cabinet! There is a refrigerator under the built-in cabinet when you open the door, and on it there are tea sets, cups, coffee machines, kettles, ice containers and free bottled water. When you open the sliding door, there is a wardrobe with slippers, bathrobes, extra quilts, etc.! There is another sliding door next to the built-in cabinet. When you open it, you will see the toilet and bathroom, which are equipped with a bathtub and a stand-up bathtub respectively. The space is quite large and is equipped with a full range of toiletries. An extra set of toiletries will also be provided when adding a bed! The highlight of this room is the full sea view on the high floor. Here you can enjoy the scenery of Victoria Harbour, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Fortress Hill and North Point. It is really exciting to have a full sea view. Sitting here and enjoying the sea view is very relaxing! If you want to see more clearly, you can try the telescope in the room. You can see the advertisements on the other side clearly! In addition, there is a wireless charger and USB, Type C and other plugs, and cables are provided on the other side, so don’t worry even if you forget to bring a charging cable or plug! There will also be Welcome Tea and fruit when you check in! The breakfast time is from 6:30 to 10:30am. We went to the restaurant on the M floor at around 9:30am. There are Chinese, Western, Indian, Southeast Asian and Japanese dishes, with a wide variety of choices, from appetizers to main dishes, desserts and fruits. The most surprising thing is the Japanese cold noodles. Fortunately, most of the food portions are small, so we can try a few more other foods! Each of us ate 4-5 dishes, first Western food, then Chinese food, then Japanese food + Indian flatbread, and a bowl of porridge (forgot to take a photo XD), and finally dessert and fruit. In fact, there were also bowls of noodles, but we couldn’t eat more. I feel that the buffet breakfast here is worth the extra money, with a wide variety of food choices and good taste.
