It was my first time to visit Lau Fau Shan. The weather was scorching hot that day. Despite the pandemic, there were still a small number of tour groups. The parking lot was full and the atmosphere was quite lively. It turns out that the environment of Lau Fau Shan is very similar to that of Lei Yue Mun, with a similar archway at the entrance, and restaurants and seafood shops dotted throughout the narrow alleys. The restaurant closest to the entrance of the alley and the most eye-catching has a lot of seafood in front of its door, but this is not the one I want to go to. I chose the Seaview Seafood Restaurant in the alley. I walked around after dinner. In the afternoon, the seafood stores and restaurants were closed and the tourists dispersed. Only a few dry goods stores were still open. I also saw people who looked like store clerks playing mahjong in the open air. It was so relaxing. I was curious about what the sea sparrows were. According to Baidu Encyclopedia, the sea sparrow is the dried whole body of the sea moth, an animal of the family Solenopsis. It is produced along the coast of Guangdong, tastes salty, and has certain effects in reducing swelling and detoxification. The main activity area of Liu Fau Shan is not very large. It is just a small alley with a sea at the end. I looked at the scenery on the other side and couldn't recognize it at all. I looked at the map and realized that the other side was Shenzhen Bay, which is beyond the scope of Hong Kong. No wonder I didn't recognize it. There are rest areas on the beach. If the weather is not too hot that day, it would be nice to drink beer under an umbrella while looking at the sea view. On the way back, I was looking for shrimp paste and found it at Niu Ji Seafood and bought it immediately. The shrimp paste is $50 a piece, the portion is quite large, and the smell is very strong. I put it in a plastic bag. I was wearing a mask, but I could still smell its salty aroma when I walked.
