【Western-Japanese style fusion cuisine】

Is Japanese fusion cuisine becoming popular in Hong Kong recently? I found quite a few restaurants of this type. MUTA Restaurant is a restaurant that mainly serves Western and Japanese light meals. The wooden decoration has a soft and comfortable feeling, and there are tatami seats in the store. It is recommended to make a reservation in advance if you want to sit down. We didn't make a reservation and were arranged to sit near the door. The chairs are quite big, which is quite comfortable for drinking and chatting, but not very convenient for eating. 🥗Fuji apple. The outer layer is a bit crispy, but it is not dry and has a cartilage texture when eaten. The eggs didn't taste fragrant enough, and seemed to steal the flavor from the sauce. 🦪Seaweed, Conch and Oyster Stew ($178) When it was served, I thought the oysters were mixed into the rice, but it turned out they were just pressed under the conch. The oysters are big and plump, with a creamy texture, but it actually starts to feel a little greasy towards the end. 🍎Baked apples． Honey cake. Sweet Potato Ice Cream ($88) This is the dessert that my friend specifically wanted to eat. The baked apples are sweet and sour. When I first saw them, I thought they were tomatoes (laughing). But the biggest surprise was the super sweet sweet potato ice cream! 🫖 Vanilla Apple Pie ($46) It smells very strong of cinnamon and tastes like a slightly sour tea. After drinking, you can ask the store staff to help add hot water. ☕Blood Orange Fruit Tea ($46) Some teas are only available as hot drinks, but this one can be enjoyed cold.
