Five subway stops away from Shenzhen, you can enjoy an unbeatable sea view from a highland meadow

🏠Location: Ngong Ping Campsite, Hong Kong I've been collecting guides to Ngong Ping Campsite and finally found the time to go. It was even more beautiful than I imagined and the difficulty was lower than expected. It was totally worth it! Highly recommended! 🚶Route guide: Standard version: Difficulty 🌟🌟 Hiking time uphill: 40 minutes 1️⃣Cross the border by subway: With a Hong Kong and Macau pass, take the MTR from Luohu Port or Futian Port to → Exit B, it's just five stops away. 2️⃣Transfer to a taxi: There's a taxi stand opposite the University MTR station. Tell the driver to go to (this is what it shows on the navigation), it costs about 60 Hong Kong dollars (it's recommended to have some cash). 3️⃣ After reaching the BBQ spot, follow the sign to on the far right. There are no forks in the road. Keep walking until you reach a , then continue forward towards for about 10 minutes. ⏰: It's recommended to start crossing the border around in the morning. You can find a place to have lunch in Hong Kong. Arrive at University station around , start hiking at . If you don't stop for photos, you'll arrive at , if you do, you'll arrive at . You can stay on the top for 1-2 hours (2 hours is enough because there's not much shade on the top, it can get quite hot). It's recommended to descend before sunset, as it can be a bit dangerous when it gets dark. Try to start descending between 17:30-18:00, so you can enjoy the sunset and it won't be too late and dangerous. ✅There are no shops along the way, so it's recommended to bring 1L of water per person. ✅There's a lot of shade during the hike, but there's no shade on the top, so it's recommended to bring sun protection. ✅It's recommended to bring a picnic mat, it's more comfortable to sit on the top. ✅There's a toilet on the top.
