It is recommended that novice hikers accumulate a certain amount of experience before going up Yugui Mountain. The journey starts from Lei Tung MTR Station. Leave the station via Exit B. You can first buy food and drinks at Lei Tung Village Shopping Centre, then go to the bus stop next to it. Next to the conductor's lounge is the entrance to the Yu Kwai Shan Route. Walk along the aqueduct, and at the end there will be stairs going up. After that, you will see a metal fence and turn left. When you see the government land notice, you will find that there are three roads to Yugui Mountain: left, middle, and right. This time, we took the middle road to go down the mountain. The road leading up to Yugui Mountain is very steep, with ropes installed along the way, and you need to use your hands and feet from time to time. It takes about 25 minutes from the starting point to reach the top of Yugui Mountain (196 meters). From the top of Mount Kwai Fong, you can overlook Ap Lei Chau and Aberdeen, and you can also see Lamma Island, Nam Long Mountain and Ocean Park in the distance.
