HK island hike!

Hiking from Hong Kong’s south side to Wan Chai offers stunning views, a mix of nature and cityscapes, and a rewarding experience. Here’s a great route to consider: Route: Wong Nai Chung Gap → Black’s Link → Wan Chai Distance: ~5 km | Duration: ~2 hours | Difficulty: Easy to moderate 1. Start: Wong Nai Chung Gap Take a bus or taxi to Wong Nai Chung Gap Road near the Parkview area. Enjoy views of Deep Water Bay and the lush hills of Hong Kong Island. 2. Black’s Link Trail A paved, scenic trail offering panoramic views of Aberdeen, Repulse Bay, and the south side. Mostly flat and shaded, making it a comfortable walk. Pass by military relics from WWII, adding a historical touch. 3. Bowen Road (Optional Extension) If you prefer a longer walk, turn onto Bowen Road, a relaxing path with city skyline views. Popular among joggers, with plenty of resting spots. 4. Descent into Wan Chai The trail gradually leads down to Wan Chai Gap Road, bringing you to the heart of the district. Explore Starstreet Precinct, Tai Yuen Street Market, or grab a bite at a local café. #hongkongguide #wanchai
