An old water reservoir reminiscent of Greek ruins. 📍Destination: Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir 📍Nearest Station: MTR Shek Kip Mei Station, Exit A 📍How to get there: Exit Exit A, go from Wo Tsai Street to Shek Kip Mei Street, turn left and enter the hilly Ba Yu Street. Enter the mountain path next to the white building on your left (the building in the second photo). Follow the signs for "Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir" and climb the mountain. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes from the mountain path. Admission is free. 📍Opening hours: 9:00-12:00, 14:00-17:00 💡Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes as you will be climbing stairs and slopes. 💡Hong Kong is humid and muggy, so it may be a good idea to bring water and a towel. 💞Point of interest 1: The old water reservoir, with its beautiful brick arches, was built in 1904 and is now designated as a Grade I historic building. A moment isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city. 💞Point of interest 2: Shek Kip Mei is a local area lined with public housing. After the tour, take a break at a local restaurant for dim sum🥢 or a cha chaan teng (Hong Kong-style coffee shop)☕.
