Former Bishop Hill Reservoir in Sham Shui Po: A Roman-style underground gem in the city.

Visiting the former Bishop Hill Reservoir in Sham Shui Po feels like traveling back in time to ancient Rome 😆. Built in 1904, this underground reservoir features Roman-style red brick arches and granite columns. The architectural beauty of this historic site is truly captivating, making you feel as if you've stepped into an ancient Roman palace! 🌟 ✅ Stunning Roman architecture As soon as you enter the reservoir, the granite columns and red brick arches catch your eye, creating an incredible atmosphere under the lighting! 😭 Although I didn’t join a guided tour on the day of my visit, there are various display boards introducing the history of the reservoir, along with QR codes for visitors to scan and listen to audio guides—very thoughtful 👍🏻.
