Tim Ho Wan HK Award Winning Dim Sum

Tim Ho Wan is well-known for its affordable and delicious dim sum. It is said to serve the cheapest Michelin starred dim sum in the world. It was founded by Chef Mak, who was formerly a chef in a three Michelin starred restaurant. Even though the restaurant chain has expanded and now has franchises in many countries, I find the ones in Hong Kong serve the best authentic dim sum among all. Must try their Baked Bbq Pork Buns, Pan-fried Radish Cake, Har Gao (shrimp dumplings), Lor Mai Gai (glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf), steamed pork rib with black bean, rice rolls, and more. They also serve rice, congee, vegetarian dishes, snacks and desserts. Highly recommended. The restaurant is always crowded. Please expect a long queue.
