Great place to get close to nature during the holidays @ Shek O Day Tour

When there is a long holiday, many off-island places in Hong Kong will be crowded. This Christmas holiday, we chose to go to Shek O. Unexpectedly, there are not many people. The weather is good. We can take pictures and breathe fresh air in close proximity to nature. We changed from Shau Kei Wan to a minibus and sat there for about 20 minutes, if you take the bus this will take a little longer about 35 minutes. Because we quickly saw a red van when we arrived in Shau Kei Wan that day, we chose the minibus. When you get off the bus in Shek O, the first thing is to go to Shek O Beach, look at the sea and feel the sea breeze and the sunshine of Hexi. This is not too hot and a little windy. The whole thing is very super chill, very good. After buying two bottles of water at the store, we started along the village of Shek O. On the way, we will pass several macaron-colored huts. The walls of the houses here are colorful, some are candy pink, some are European style. Continue walking along Shek O Village, you will reach the Lover's Bridge in less than 15 minutes or so. Basically, you don't have to look for it. You will easily see it after walking. This is also one of the landmarks of Shek O. Lover's Bridge was collapsed by Typhoon Mangkhut in 2018. It reopened in April 2021. The reopened Lover's Bridge maintains its powder blue appearance. Its other side is connected to Tai Tau Chau. We stayed at the Lover's Bridge to take pictures slowly, glancing at the waves from time to time, admiring the different rock shapes made by the waves nearby, and saw people coming to take wedding photos. Around sunset, we slowly walked back to Shek O Beach and took the minibus back to Shau Kei Wan before many people were returning.   #HongKongGood Places #FamilyGood Places #ShekO
