Arrive at the hidden beach, but go down to step over small rocks, young children may not be suitable to go down, others remember to pay attention to safety ah ~ but the hidden beach is no longer hidden, super crowded, and a lot of garbage really take their own garbage!! route: The entrance is next to the Ma Wan football field. There is a dirt road on the right side of the bridge. Go straight along the road to Divinity Road, the bamboo forest on the left, go up the hill on the right, choose the right side. Until another righteous road, go down the hill on the left to Hidden Beach and go up the hill on the right. We chose the left side down to the beach. Afterword: There are two places along the road with benches for resting, no toilets. But there is a public toilet next to the football field near the entrance. The LCSD has opened some beaches, Ma Wan East Bay Beach is one of them, we are playing homemade egg hunt at this beach. The kids are playing egg hunt at the beach for the first time. They are super excited~ Last year, due to the epidemic, the twins' mothers played egg hunt with their children at home. Then we went to a Turkish restaurant to feel the exotic style. I can also travel to exotic countries and eat and drink with confidence The quality of the food is very good, but the shop is smaller, and there is no high chair, not a parent-child restaurant, more suitable for couples to go. If you are bringing children, it is recommended to eat at Noah's Ark Hotel. In the afternoon part, we started to enter parallel space. Let's go to Shek Tsai Wan Pier to see the sea and feel the fishing village style. Walk to Fong Yuen Bookstore, the only pre-war primary school in Ma Wan that has been preserved. It is a Grade III listed building in Hong Kong. The study room is a two-storey rectangular building, blending Chinese and Western architectural styles. Currently, the library is only open on the ground floor to showcase the history of Ma Wan, including models of fishing boats and Tin Hau birthday cannons, and interactive games (but this part is currently suspended). Outside the door is a small model showing the roof design. The children are very interested in the model. Then we visited the nearby Ma Wan Park Heritage Museum, which displays the ancient pots of the Qing Dynasty (used for making ceramics) and the remains of the pots of the Tang Dynasty. It is better to travel thousands of miles than to read thousands of books Take your children around and have a look. In addition to unwinding, you can also learn new knowledge. Walk back to the wire fence near Fong Yuen Bookstore, then turn left to Ma Wan Old Village, near Ma Wan Avenue and Tin Hau Temple (follow the signs to Tin Hau Temple). The footsteps all over the street suddenly became quiet~ The cypress trees in the sky suddenly did not waver~ An abandoned village, with a history of 200 years, is full of a sense of parallel time, as if this era does not exist. Turning streets and alleys is like sliding through waves~ Heaven and earth still left my heartbeat ~ I heard from the staff at the Fong Yuen Bookstore that the village will be cleared after Easter, but I couldn't find any information on the internet. However, the day has seen the village house has been surrounded. I had always wanted to go before and was glad to be able to visit this special place before the demolition! (If you go to Ma Wan, you can stop by to see if it has been demolished) The abandoned playground in the village, with some graffiti-backed buildings behind it, it seemed like we had traveled to another country. And there is a real hidden beach next to the Ma Wan Public Pier, there are not many people, children piles of sand, playing very much. This parallel time trip is very special. Taking pictures to satisfy the desires of adults, playing in the playground and piles of sand, the children are the happiest. Next time you come back, this place may have been demolished. In fact, Ma Wan is a place worth visiting with your children. You won't have to play for a whole day (but remember to keep the place clean and quiet, so as not to affect the residents).
