A Wonderful Trip to Innsbruck

On the second day, we started our wonderful journey in the morning light. Our first stop was a castle with a unique love story. This castle was actually a gift of love from 450 years ago. Ferdinand II was the favorite son of the king at the time. He fell in love with a commoner girl. They loved each other deeply. In the end, Ferdinand II violated his father's wishes and secretly married the girl. Ferdinand II rebuilt an ancient castle into what we see today, and then gave it to his beloved wife as a wedding gift as proof of his love. This is Ambras Castle. The most famous Spanish Hall in the castle is the hall where Ferdinand held banquets for his wife. There is also a collection room where he collected various armors and a museum full of curiosities. The castle is surrounded by a huge garden and has become a castle in the garden. After leaving Ambras Castle, we went to another landmark building in Innsbruck, the Olympic Ski Jump on Bergisel. It was also custom-made for Innsbruck by Zaha Hadid, the world's most popular female architect. You can quickly reach the Sky Restaurant and observation deck by taking two elevators.
