Kanazawa Shinise Memorial Hall

Highlights: The Kanazawa Shinise Memorial Hall is also known as Shinise Kinenkan Museum. Once a prominent pharmacy, it now is a museum that also shows local Kanazawa crafts. The city of Kanazawa has preserved the culturally valuable exterior of the building, while also refurbishing the mise-no-ma (storefront), thus restoring the appearance of a feudal period pharmacy. The museum opened on April 1st,1988 as a facility to showcase the traditional culture of Kanazawa's townspeople. Opening hours: 9.30am to 5pm daily.
