The bridge of dreams

The Sumata Gorge is one of the most scenic spots in Shizuoka prefecture. It is said to be the last secluded region of the Oigawa River. This is the Yume no Tsuribashi that symbolizes the Sumata Gorge. Under the suspension bridge, a dam lake formed in the "Oma Dam" of the Sumata River, a tributary river of the Oigawa River, spreads out. The water looks blue due to a physical phenomenon called "Tyndall effect," in which only blue light with short wavelengths is reflected in places with beautiful water quality. Depending on the weather and sunlight, you can see the beautiful emerald green or cobalt blue surface of the lake. If you go further upstream to the Hiryu Bridge, you can look down on the Yume no Tsuribashi suspension bridge below. In 2024, I want to go to this place again. #2024wish
