Tha Mai Temple

Wat Tha Mai is a temple in Village No. 11, Ban Kong Si Long, Tambon Tha Mai, Amphoe Krathum Baen, Samut Sakhon Province. People like to come to pay respect to Rahu, Guan Yin, Phra Phikanet, Phra In, Phra Phrom, and Mae Takhian. The temple also holds rituals such as fortune telling, karma correction, merit making, fortune-enhancing, and solving conflicts. Wat Tha Mai was founded in 1989 and received the royal charter of the boundary markers in 1994. It was originally a monastery called Wat Phothithammarangsi (Tha Mai). It received a permit from the Department of Religious Affairs on November 1, 1977, and then received a permit to build a temple. Phra Phiksu Yot Upatissa from Wat Nong Phan Thao, Kanchanaburi Province, came to develop the monastery. Later, Phra Phiksu Yot asked to buy 4 rai of land and received another 2 rai in donation. Later, in 1989, Phra Phiksu Yot went on a pilgrimage and disappeared. Phra Khru Thammarat The abbot of Tha Mai Subdistrict saw that it was deteriorated, so he sent Phra Prasit Kittipatto from Wat Nang Sao to be the caretaker in 1984 and established it as Wat Tha Mai on February 28, 1989.
