National Heritage Check-in: Zhenqing Guan Ancient Architectural Complex (National Level VI)

The Zhenqing Guan Ancient Architectural Complex is located at No. 82, Tuodong Road, Panlong District. It is the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units, classified under ancient buildings, from the Ming to Qing dynasties. Zhenqing Guan, originally named Zhenwu Temple, has existing structures from the Ming and Qing periods. Facing south with its back to the north, the main buildings include the front hall, the Ziwei Hall, and the Laojun Hall, among others. The Dulei Mansion is located to the east of the Ziwei Hall of Zhenqing Guan. It was initially built during the Ming dynasty, and the existing structures were constructed in the eleventh year of the Tongzhi era of the Qing dynasty (1872), including the main gate, Qingfeng Pavilion, and the Thunder God Hall, etc. The Yanlong Shrine is situated to the north of Dulei Mansion, built in the seventh year of the Guangxu era of the Qing dynasty (1881) with funds raised by Yunnan salt merchants. Its main buildings include side rooms, the front hall, and the main hall, etc. Zhenqing Guan is free to visit, and the overall scale is not very large, with buildings closely packed within the courtyard. There are many benches for visitors to rest on. The caisson ceiling in the Qingfeng Pavilion is quite impressive.
