Wat Thai, and Yuantong Temple in Kunming have such a long history.

It is also the location of the Buddhist Association of Yunnan Province and Kunming City. 🏯The temple was built during the Nanzhao period of the Tang Dynasty. It was renovated and expanded in the Yuan and Qing Dynasties. 🌄It has a history of more than 1,200 years. What is special is that, 🏯The main hall enshrines a bronze statue of Sakyamuni presented by the Thai Buddhist community. It is a Thai-style building.
