Lampang, a recommended day trip to a small town in northern Thailand (Part 2)

🪟🎁 Papacraft Craft/Cafe Opening hours: Sat–Sun 9:00–19:00, weekdays 9:00–17:00 (closed on Wednesdays) Recommended: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A very inconspicuous little shop! Super easy to miss! Located on Talad Gao Road (also known as Old Market Road, there is a night market every Saturday and Sunday). The owner is a translator who loves handicrafts, but his career forced him to give up his hobby. It wasn't until 20 years later that the old man picked up his beloved handicraft again with the encouragement of his youngest son, and now he is the founder of the leather brand Papacraft, whose works were exhibited at the 2019 Korea International Handicraft Exhibition (so brave 🥹) The store sells many handicrafts such as leather goods, pottery, rope products, fabrics, and balm. You can also go to the backyard through the store, where you can sit quietly and enjoy coffee, and watch the craftsmen in the workshop make handicrafts through the window! It's really interesting! If you are interested in handicrafts, you might as well come here for a stroll, and you may have unexpected gains. ☕️Moung Ngwe Zin Building Coffee drinks: THB 90–150/person Opening hours: Sat–Sun 10:00–21:00 Recommended: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Isn't it a name that makes you think? This building is indeed very famous 😯 It was built in 1908 by a Burmese teak merchant, Moung Ngwe Zin, and is said to have been the main store selling Western goods to employees of BBTC, the most famous British teak logging company, in Lampang. It has now become a building that combines a gallery and coffee, and is known as one of the most beautiful buildings in Thailand. Like Papacraft, it is located on Talad Gao Road. The building is very distinctive, with two floors (the second floor was not open when I went there). Unlike Thai architecture, it is mixed with Burmese architectural styles. Note that the building and cafe are only open on weekends! Don't go there for nothing!
