A Secluded Las Vegas Vacation Paradise

For our Las Vegas trip, we chose the tranquil Canyon Pointe Resort, located at 4550 S Grand Canyon Dr. This hotel is a peaceful and safe haven away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip, an easy 8-mile drive to the Strip. Surprisingly, the hotel also offers a free shuttle service to the Mirage and Fremont Street, making travel super convenient. Canyon Pointe Resort's location is truly fantastic, far from the noise of the Las Vegas Strip, with a very quiet surrounding environment. The hotel's decor is very modern, and the facilities are comprehensive, from the pool and hot tub to the fitness center and barbecue area; it truly has everything. Check-in at the front desk took a little time, but the overall service experience was very good. The staff were all very warm and friendly, greeting us with a smile every time we met them, making us feel at home. We stayed in room 2060, which was very spacious, with a balcony directly facing the pool and offering fantastic views. The room was also fully equipped with a washer, dryer, blender, and a full set of kitchen tools, making it a paradise for those who enjoy cooking their own meals. Moreover, the room layout was well-designed, with the bedroom and bathroom at opposite ends of the living room, providing excellent privacy. The only downside was that the bed was a bit uncomfortable; the mattress seemed a little flat and worn, probably due to its age. There are also many fun places near the hotel, such as Las Vegas Bike Tours and Lucky Puppy Arcade, both of which are great choices. In addition, the dining options are plentiful! We went to the nearby Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina, In-N-Out Burger, and Egg Works, each with its own unique character and delicious food. Overall, our stay was very pleasant, but the only drawback might be the less-than-comfortable mattress. Also, the check-in process was a bit cumbersome. However, the overall service at the hotel was excellent, and the surrounding environment was perfect for a vacation. We will consider staying here again on our next trip to Las Vegas.
