Yuhu Ancient Town - A Lijiang unknown gem

Yuhu Village, also known as Xuesong Village, is little known to most travellers visiting Lijiang as most frequent the Dayan, Biasha and Shuhe ancient towns. Yuhu is on the footstep of the Yulong Snow Mountain. When visiting the area, ensure to get away from the main street. Walk all the way to the top and then up through the terraces to the rest point for hikers. Located approximately 15km out of the city, Yuhu is an unknown gem. The town has a history over 1000 years.
