Walking with the past: Khmer architectur

It became especially prominent during the 10th to 13th centuries when it was a key outpost of the expanding Khmer civilization, similar in style and era to Cambodia’s Angkor Wat. In the 17th century, King Narai the Great of the Ayutthaya Kingdom made Lopburi his secondary capital.
