Shangchen Tianhou Temple

Shangchen Tianhou Temple was first built in the 25th year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming dynasty. After people from Fujian moved to Shangchen Village, they brought Mazu incense with them and built a temple in the north of the village to worship Mazu. The temple was renovated and expanded in the 32nd year of the Wanli reign and the 13th year of the Qianlong reign. In 1976, the temple was restored, and the original Mazu statue was brought back for worship. Since then, the temple has been popular with worshippers. 🌟 Highlights: The temple was rebuilt and renovated again in 2008. The new Tianhou Temple is magnificent and unique. It has a three-room, two-hall layout, with a left and right wing and a rear hall.
