The New Central Hotel stands tall with 11 floors, featuring 114 exquisite and luxurious rooms that exude historical charm. It takes you on a journey through the modern era of the 1920s, the fashionable elegance of the 1930s, and the post-war glory of the 1940s, allowing you to experience the different eras of Macau's sentiments. Under the supervision of the Macau Cultural Affairs Bureau, a grand restoration and reconstruction project was initiated with the aim of 'continuing the century-old historical context and reshaping the legendary image of the hotel'. The engineering team, with their exquisite craftsmanship, started the restoration and reinforcement from the foundation, using independently developed static drilling pile technology to drive 129 piles into the original pile-less foundation and construct a new base to enhance the overall load capacity. The hotel's facade and the 'New Central' sign at the top have withstood the test of time and still retain their original appearance, becoming a dazzling landmark in the historic district of Macau. To perpetuate the century-old historical lineage, the New Central Hotel has specially set up a 'Century History Exhibition Gallery' on the ground floor, which narrates the historical evolution of the Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro (also known as San Ma Lo) and the New Central Hotel to visitors.
