The temple is located on a hill, and you can clearly see the chedi from below. 🎋On the temple, there are two white chedis next to each other. The chedis are in the Shan-Burmese style. When you see them, they look strange because they are different from the art of Thai temples that we are familiar with. 🎋To pay homage to Phra That Doi Kong Mu, the temple will have a set of trays placed near the chedi for you to worship according to your faith. The trays will consist of: 🌼Flowers, incense, candles 🌳Wood that looks like a pile of firewood 🪣A bowl with sand inside Hold all of these and circle the chedi 3 times or you can choose not to circle the chedi. Then, place the worship set in front of the Buddha image of each person's birth date, which will be around the chedi. Light incense and candles, say the prayers, and the ceremony is complete. 🎋Phra That Doi Kong Mu also has a large Buddha statue in the Tai Yai-Burmese art style for us to pay our respects to. 🎋And when you are on the chedi, you will be able to see the beautiful view of the entire city of Mae Hong Son, along with the mountains that stretch as far as the eye can see, just like the reputation of being a city of mountains. 🎋You can see the sunrise ☀️ in front of the temple and the sunset 🌠 at the viewpoint behind the temple. 🎋You will gain merit from paying homage to the chedi of Mae Hong Son province, and you will also see beautiful views of the city of three mists. Visiting just one place is worth it. 🎋There are 2 ways to go up to the chedi: 1. The stairs in front of the temple, which takes only 10 minutes to walk up. 2. The road that cars can go up to, located on the left side of the stairs up to the chedi. This route is twice as far as the stairs, but it is convenient for all types of vehicles to go up. 🎋Phra That Doi Kong Mu is located in Mueang District, Mae Hong Son Province. When driving into Mae Hong Son City, you will see the pagoda standing out on the mountain.
