Mianyang is a nice place

Mianyang is very close to Chengdu, but it is not very well-known, probably because there are so many great places around Chengdu. This time, because of Cambridge and a plane ticket to Shanghai, I came here to experience Mianyang. The most famous attraction here is the Qiang Ethnic Tourism Area in Weijing District. The stone spheres are not particularly interesting; the place is small and the goods sold are common basic street stall items. However, in another area, the carvings and the scenery at Shenshui Sihe and Luohan Temple are incredibly stunning. It has now become a famous internet celebrity check-in spot. The overall number of people is also quite large, with many different kinds of Luohan statues. The sculptures are very distinctive, and the size is impressive to look at. Of course, Mianyang also has its own local specialty dishes.
