Untouched beauty

Quan Lan Island is located in Bai Tu Long Bay, on the borders of Halong Bay. It's sparsely populated, having seaports on the island's northern and southern ends. Despite being inhabited by residents, the island beauty remains relatively unspoilt, with 3 long white sandy beaches and magnificent woodland regions. Quan Lan island is also an excellent site to try some of the local seafood, due to the availability. There are numerous tiny family-run hotels and homestays on Quan Lan Island for those who want to stay more than a day, and you may even be able to charter a boat to carry you along the island's coastline. #naturalwonders#seasidephotoguide#summervacation#beachvacation#urbanexplorer

My First Time In Jamaica Oh my gosh! It was so beautiful you cross so much blue, green waters and Cuba too. It took four hours in the plane, the time was behind eastern standard time. So it seem like 3 hours. When we arrived at the airport, certain parts of their airport was not air conditioned. It was my first time out of the country and we could tell we were in another country. They showed everyone which way to go through customs. My husband and I were shocked that there was no air conditioning. However, the workers were very pleasant to us. This was in 1995, they had a group of woman dressed colorfully singing like the commercial “Come to Jamaica”. That did it for me. I was so excited. We were ushered by the Hotel Representative who told us which mini bus to take and we were on our way. That took about 45 minutes. We immediately notice the driving was on the left side of the road. Not many stop signs or any type of traffic signs. No speed limits, everyone was moving pretty fast. We arrived safely. Once again the bus driver was so very pleasant. The motel was beautifully, we had the all exclusive deal , #givethanks#bestislandtraveltowns#naturalwonders#beautifulhotel#seasidephotoguide#summervacation#beachvacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Trip To Cozumel In Mexico The island of Cozumel is only 12 miles (19 km) off the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula’s east coast and 44 miles (71 km) south of Cancun. For years, Cozumel was a quite sleepy island that didn’t get many visitors until Jacques Cousteau did a documentary on it after discovering the world class scuba diving at the Palancar Reefs nearby. Since 1961, Cozumel has been known as one of the best scuba diving destinations in the world. In fact for decades since that time, the only tourists visiting the island have been primarily scuba divers. Mainstream tourists went to the resort intensive Cancun in the mainland instead. However, Cozumel became a regular cruise ship port of call in recent years and today it is one of the busiest with two separate terminals. It is common to have five or even six different cruise ships at port on any given day. I’ve been to Cozumel twice, the first time staying several days on a scuba diving vacation and the second time for a day via cruise ship (also scuba dived during my second visit). As a result of the cruise ship boom, there has been lots of retail development along the main waterfront road of Avenida Rafael Melgar in the island’s only town of San Miguel de Cozumel. #givethanks#bestislandtraveltowns#naturalwonders#beautifulhotel#seasidephotoguide#summervacation#beachvacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Piraeus The Port Of Ancient Athens Piraeus, also known as Peiraeus or Pireas, is a city located in the prefecture of Attica, towards the southern side of Athens. This city’s main attraction is based on the fact that in ancient Greece, it was used as Athens’ main port, and therefore it played a very important role in the city’s life. Besides than being the port of ancient Athens, Piraeus has been also named port of modern Athens since 1834. This way, nowadays this port can be seen in action, and although it does not look just like it used in ancient Greece, it still shows some of such antique characteristics which turn it into a very interesting and peculiar place to meet. The name of this area, Piraeus, means “the place over the passage”, #lanternshow#historicculture#beautifulsunsets#naturalwonders#beautifulhotel#seasidephotoguide#summervacation#beachvacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer
