The scenery at the mountain summit is always worth the anticipation!

🚗 Navigate directly to [Wulingyan Zen Temple], where the ancient monastery offers serene tranquility as the starting point of your journey. Follow the signs winding up towards [Fangshan Reservoir]. 🏰 Upon reaching [Chenyouzhai Dingmen], you'll encounter a fork in the road—remember to choose the direction toward [Huitouhu]! Climb to the summit of Huitouhu, where the breathtaking panorama will leave your camera shutter clicking nonstop 📷👀! 🌊 After soaking in the mountain views, continue onward to [Fangshan Reservoir]. The lush greenery along the way is nature’s gift with every step 🌿. Arriving at the reservoir, the tranquil lake mirrors the blue sky and white clouds, creating a scene almost too beautiful to be true 💧🌈. 🌉 Walk along the lakeside toward the [Dam]. Once at the dam, you’ll spot a small bridge—this marks the start of the cliffside aqueduct (follow the trail with ribbons 🎈). Stroll along the aqueduct to admire the stunning cliffside scenery on both sides. ⛰️ After enjoying the cliffside aqueduct, retrace your steps back to the [Dam], then follow the black fence along the reservoir to the [Zhiqing Point]. From here, you can proceed to various peaks of Wuhu Mountain as indicated by the signs. 🌳 Route: Wulingyan Zen Temple → Chenyouzhai Dingmen → Huitouhu → Dam → Cliffside Aqueduct → Dam → Zhiqing Point → Chenyouzhai Dingmen → Wulingyan Zen Temple 🧭 Duration: ~13 km, 4 hours (excluding photo stops/breaks). We started at 10:30 AM and finished by 4:30 PM, totaling 6 hours. 🔑 If your stamina is limited, you can skip Huitouhu. After reaching Chenyouzhai Dingmen, head straight to Fangshan Reservoir, cutting the distance by 4–5 km. 🔥 Tips: Wear comfortable hiking shoes, bring plenty of water and snacks. The mountain breeze may be cool, but the physical exertion is no joke! 🏃‍♀️💦
