It was a trip to Mokpo, Korea. We started our trip by visiting Yudalsan Mountain ⛰️ The hike was manageable, and the panoramic views of Mokpo’s coastline and nearby islands were worth every step. The stir-fried jjambbong was much more delicious than the spicy jjambbong above!ㅎ The last dish was the glutinous rice tangsuyuk plate! It was really filling, with salad, French fries, and tangsuyuk! And the food visuals were pretty, so I think it was fun to take pictures.

We visited Mokpo Junghwaru, a traditional Chinese restaurant that has been around for 77 years since 1947. There were many dishes including 'Jungkkan', the signature menu of Chinese restaurants in Mokpo, and we ate Samseon Jjambbong and Jungkkan. It was also introduced in Mokpo's Best Restaurant, Master of Life, and Kim Young-cheol's Neighborhood Tour. The taste was as good as the price, and the spicy flavor was especially well-received. There is Mokpo Colombang Bakery nearby, and it is convenient for sightseeing in the old city center. Seeing that it was built on a hill that overlooked not only Mokpo Port but also the new road that stretched from the port to here... I could immediately tell that there was an impure intention to control our people as well as exploit resources. 2022.01 #MokpoTravel While driving along the coastal road, a cylindrical building appears. This is #MokpoSkywalk. My daughter, who was confident that she wasn't scared, tried to walk along the passage extending over the sea, but she was scared because the floor was wide open. It is located at 240 Haeyangdaehak-ro, Mokpo-si, and is open Monday to Thursday at 1000-1900, and Friday to Sunday at 0930-2000. It can be reach by taking Bus number 1 from Mokpo train station. This cable car is divided into two sections, the first goes to the top of Yudalsan mountain, where you can alight and walk around. The next ride will take you across the sea to the Gohado Island which is the longest stretch. You can walk to Gohado Observatory, a unique building built with orange containers. It offers visitors an amazing view of the old downtown area of Mokpo, and the surrounding natural scenery.

#wecreate Gatbawi Rock is a natural sandstone and tafoni formation near the mouth of the Yeongsangang River on the coast of Yonghae-dong in Mokpo. Take Bus 15 from Mokpo train station, and then head toward the ocean, then cross the bridge. Gatbawi is named after its shape, which is said to look like two men wearing traditional Korean hats. The rocks are actually made of two individual formations measuring 8 meters and the other is 6 meters. For a pleasant walk along the sea for around a kilometer, you will be headed to Mokpo Peace Square, which is also known as Pyeonghwa Plaza. This stretch of marine road have beautiful sculptures, convenient facilities, cafes and restaurants for families and lovers.

I visited Mokpo Euteumhanwoo, a famous Mokpo beef restaurant that anyone who lives in Mokpo would know:) You can choose the meat yourself and buy it to go, or you can grill it at the restaurant right next door. There are pork belly, pork neck, pork jowl, and pork ribs, and there are also various types of steak, such as sirloin, tenderloin, side dish, pork shoulder, sirloin, tenderloin, chadolbagi, and la galbi. They even give you a 30% discount for takeout‼️ The store is really spacious, so it's good for company dinners or gatherings, and it's a good place to eat with family because it has rooms.
