Norway's E10 Road—Living in a Painting

The E10 Road, also known as King Olav's Way, is one of Norway's 18 National Scenic Routes. It is the main artery that crosses the Lofoten archipelago from east to west. Driving along the E10 Road through Lofoten towards the south, you will be greeted by mountains, lakes, fjords, and fishing cabins... a collection of breathtaking views. European roads starting with 'E' signify transnational European highways. This E10 Road is a transnational highway between northern Norway and Sweden. It starts at Å, the southernmost point of the Lofoten Islands, traverses the archipelago, passes through Svolvær heading north to Narvik, then through Kiruna, the Swedish town known for the Northern Lights, and finally ends at Luleå on the Baltic Sea coast.
