It has a deep relationship with the emperor and court nobles, and items received by the imperial family and historical dignitaries are placed in the temple treasury. You can enjoy beautiful autumn leaves from around late April to fresh green, from June to early July, and beautiful autumn leaves from mid-November to early December. Among them, about 5,000 hydrangeas blooming in the precincts are the largest in Kyoto, and the "Yanagiya Kannon Hydrangea Week" is held around June every year, and you can enjoy the corridor leading from the shoin to Okunoin and the path leading from the main hall to the inner temple.
