Wat Phramani or Luang Pho Pak Daeng

It was built during the reign of King Chulalongkorn, Rama V. The most important object of worship is Luang Pho Pak Daeng, a meditative Buddha image made of bronze with a lap width of 49 inches and a height of 1 meter. It is in the Lan Xang art style. His robes are decorated with painted red. Legend has it that Luang Pho Pak Daeng is a sibling of Phra Suk and Phra Sai, who were brought from Vientiane. when they arrived in Thailand, the villagers dispersed to different temples. at present, Luang Pho is enshrined as the principal Buddha image in the ordination hall. #temple #thailand
