If you're lucky, you might spot some manta rays - though I missed them, the stunning seascape alone is enough to mesmerize anyone. At sunset, when the sky turns orange-red and the sunlight dances on the water's surface, it creates a picturesque scene that makes this spot perfect for watching the sunset. 2. Australia Rock: This remarkable rock formation features a hole that remarkably resembles the shape of Australia's map. Its unique form attracts countless visitors to take photos and create unforgettable travel memories. Visit at dawn to watch the sunrise as the first rays of light hit the rock, experiencing the vibrant energy of a new day. 3. Camel Rock: Located 30km south of town, this camel-shaped rock formation showcases nature's incredible artistry. Standing next to Camel Rock for a photo, you'll feel like you're in a fairytale world. 4. Bermagui Blue Pool: This natural ocean pool, 39km south of town, is nature's gift. Here, you can enjoy the refreshing seawater while watching fish and crabs swimming freely through the crystal-clear bottom, feeling at one with the ocean. 🐋Special Experiences 1. Montague Island Whale, Seal & Penguin Watching: Meet at the wharf at 16:30 for an amazing ocean adventure. September to November is the best time for whale watching. Search for whales and dolphins at sea, experiencing their grace and magnitude. Then observe lazy seals around the island, climb the lighthouse for panoramic views, and wait for penguins to return to their nests at sunset. Around 20:00, return under a star-filled sky - a breathtaking experience you'll never forget. 2. Montague Island Diving/Snorkeling: For a closer encounter with marine life, don't miss the unique experience of diving with seals. Unfortunately, I couldn't participate while traveling with my parents, but this is absolutely a diver's paradise. 🍽️Culinary Journey Narooma is a renowned oyster-producing region in Australia, offering fresh and affordable oysters that will delight your taste buds. Recommended seafood restaurants include Bridge and Blue Water, and for oysters, try Farmer's Daughter. Unfortunately, all fishing tours were fully booked during my visit due to Canberra's Labor Day. Remember to book in advance if you want to go fishing. 🏖️Beach Time: Bar Beach in the town center has gentle waves and is safe for swimming within the buoyed area, though it can get crowded. For a quieter beach experience, Yabbara Beach and Duesburys Beach are just a 10-minute drive from town center. While the waves are stronger, these beaches offer beautiful scenery with fewer people.
