Famous Big Apple

New York City is perhaps the world's most famous city; everyone seems to want to visit it at least once in their lives. Essentially a big city, you'll have tons to visit while there, as it is an exciting metropolis. You will want to plan a few days as the city does have several boroughs and you'll want to make enough time to visit the attractions located in each. The subway is a great way to get around but do beware to read where the train goes before hopping onboard. Nonetheless you'll want to make use of your legs as well. Being a melting point, NYC hosts a wonderful Chinatown and Little Italy respectively. You'll also want to visit the sombre World Trade Center memorial, which is a really evocative and moving monument. NYC boasts many famous streets and strolling along them is excitement in itself. Make sure also to head to the UN headquarters; which is technically territory outside of the USA. Wall Street, Central Park, Columbia University , Times Square and the Statue of Liberty are all sights not to be missed. Overall, NYC is a huge city that does not lack any sights to visit. You can easily spend several days there and still not visit all there is to offer.
