Wat Phra Maha Chedi Chai Mongkol, located in Nong Phok District, Roi Et Province, is a magnificent and intricately designed large chedi that combines Central and Northeastern Thai art styles. This temple houses the sacred relics of the Buddha as well as the remains of renowned Northeastern Buddhist monks. It also serves as a center for Buddhist meditation practices. 🙏 Phra Maha Chedi Si Chai Mongkol measures 101 meters in width and length, and 109 meters in height. The dimensions of 101 meters correspond to the name of Roi Et Province, while the height of 109 meters honors King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX).
