Recommended spots 🌿 Candle Island At sunset, the sun shines on the tip of the island, making it look like a lit candle, creating a truly spectacular view. The observation deck is located in an area called Kumi, and sightseeing boats depart from Juse Port. It's about a 30-minute drive from Saigo Port. It's nice to see it up close by boat, but it's also recommended to view the majestic sea and Candle Island from the observation deck. Looking at the clear, beautiful sea and the delicate Candle Island, it feels like you're in a surreal world. 🌿 Tamawakasu no Mikoto Shrine & Yaoyasugi This is a dignified shrine built in the 5th year of the Kansei era. The main hall and the main gate are thatched and charming, and the Yaoyasugi trees at the end of the approach are a highlight. 🌿 Izakaya "Ten" 3 minutes walk from Saigo Port This is a restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seafood. You can enjoy a wide range of dishes, from affordable menus to whole fish dishes. The fried horse mackerel in particular was fluffy and delicious.
