Pamukkale, Turkey | Enter the dreamland of white terraces and light blue pools

The cloud-like white terraces are naturally formed limestone layers. Under the calcium-containing hot spring water are white limestone sediments. Some pool bottoms are soft lime mud, but more pool bottoms are full of hard gravel/with bumps and grooves, which are so painful that it makes it difficult to walk. But for the beautiful scenery, all the hard work is worth it! In order to arrive at Pamukkale early in the morning, we flew from Istanbul to Denizli the night before and checked into accommodation near Pamukkale. The next morning, the hotel staff arranged a taxi for us to go to the south gate of Pamukkale so that we could take beautiful photos without anyone around (fist). It is worth getting up early because the crowds start to appear at 9am and it will be more difficult to take pictures.
