The name of the community Ja Bo comes from the name of the village leader. All people in the community are related. They still use the language and dress of the Lahu, which is divided into 3 sub-ethnic groups: Black Lahu, Red Lahu, and Yellow Lahu, which differ in their beliefs and clothing.
