Lace Village Lefkara

I went there from Larnaca. It's on top of a mountain and there's no public transport, so if you go there by yourself, you'll have to charter a taxi. This time I took an optional tour. There aren't many tours that include Lefkara, and they tend to be a little expensive, but I think it's more affordable than chartering a taxi. It seems to be one of the 30 most beautiful villages in Europe. The small, cute townscape is lined with narrow streets and lace shops that are a bit like a maze. It's a small village, but there are many alleys, so it will take a while to get around. The lace sold here seems to be hand-knitted and is beautiful, but the larger ones are quite expensive.
