A Tour of French Cultural Treasures - The Seine River.

The Seine River is a living cultural heritage in itself, compared to other cultural heritages in France. It is more like a link that closely connects the many cultural heritages on the left and right banks of the Seine River. From the flow of the Seine River, it flows from north to south, with the north being the cradle of the ancient city and the south being the fertile ground for the vigorous development of new culture in the 19th and 20th centuries. Almost all of Paris' iconic buildings are built along the banks of the Seine River, extending westward from Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Grand Palais, the Hôtel des Invalides, the Eiffel Tower, and more, all standing on the banks of the Seine River. There are 37 bridges across the Seine River, 26 of which are over 100 years old. They witness the changes in the city of Paris and record people's daily lives. The Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge known as the "New Bridge," is actually the first bridge in Paris, with a statue of Henry IV on horseback in the center. It is worth mentioning that as early as 1985, the famous wrapping artist Christo wrapped the Pont Neuf into a striking work of art. The Pont Alexandre III is known for its spectacular and magnificent arch design. It is a gift from the Russian Tsar to Paris, symbolizing the deep friendship between France and Russia. The Pont de la Concorde is one of the busiest bridges in Paris, connecting the Place de la Concorde and the Palais Bourbon. Built in 1788, it is an important hub for urban transportation in Paris. The Pont des Arts, a pedestrian bridge, is not only the first iron bridge in Paris but was also bombed by the German army during the war. However, it is famous for its dense love locks and has become the most famous love bridge on the Seine River, affectionately known as the "Love Bridge."
